Install OrderTrac Web App

OrderTrac is web based, which means you access it in any browser just like any other website. However, if you like having OrderTrac as a dedicated app installed on your computer, there is a way to do that so you have quick access to OrderTrac.

Edge

First, navigate to your OrderTrac dashboard. Next click the 3 dots on the top right to access the settings menu > More Tools > Apps > Install this site as an app:

Next, you can give your app a name. The default will be something like OrderTrac | Dashboard if the dashboard is the current page you are on.

Next, Edge may prompt you for permission to add the app to the start menu, taskbar, and to create a desktop shortcut. Check the box for the options you want and click Allow:

You may be prompted with another notification asking for permission to pin the app to the taskbar. Click Yes:

Now you will see an OrderTrac icon on your dashboard, start menu and/or taskbar. If you click the icon, it will open OrderTrac in a dedicated window:

Google Chrome

Follow the same steps above, but you can find the option to save the website as an app under the 3 dots on the top right > Cast, Save, & Share > Install page as app..

Once again, you will be prompted to select a name for the app:

This will automatically place an icon on the desktop which you can use to quickly open OrderTrac
